Work is progressing to build 28 affordable new family-sized homes on the former swimming pool site in Roundhills, Waltham Abbey.
The properties are part of a wider Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) initiative to build more affordable housing across the district. The homes are being delivered in partnership with EFDC who will purchase the homes on completion.
The photos below, from the end of May, show how far the scheme has progressed. Scaffolding has been removed from four of the five blocks and will be removed from the final block before the end of this month. External paving and fencing, and roof tiling on the front porches, has now begun.
The scheme is on track for completion and handover to the council before the end of the year.
