On the evening of Thursday 5th May, the Civic Centre will be used to count the results of the local elections.
To ensure the safety of all those taking part, Epping Forest District Council will be installing temporary lighting in the Conder car park area during the count to enable people access to their cars safely during the night. The lighting will be angled down to reduce the impact on neighbours.
A quiet generator will be used to power the lighting and there will be an engineer on site throughout the night to ensure the lights are working correctly.
