Cottis Yard car park will be closed overnight on 2 and 3 September from 8pm – 5am so that road resurfacing works on Cottis Lane can be completed.
Carrying out this work overnight minimises health and safety risks for pedestrians and reduces the impact on local businesses who may otherwise be affected by the road and car park closure.
We have been working with our contractor and Essex County Council Highways to reduce noise as much as possible but recognise that overnight work is disruptive, particularly for local residents.
