Chris Burgess and Terry Murphy from our Grounds Maintenance team went on an extraordinary mission last week!
They volunteered to deliver little lions, decorated by local schoolchildren and community groups, to venues in Loughton to promote the St Clare Hospice fund-raising Lions on the Loose Trail which starts on 24 July.
Full size lions, including our very own Roary, sponsored by Qualis Property Solutions, will be roaming streets, parks and open spaces in Epping, Loughton and Harlow for eight weeks. Then in September they will be auctioned off to raise much needed cash for the hospice.
Roary the Qualis Lion, was created by talented artist Sarah Emily Porter.
