The highly anticipated launch of Qualis Homes has today been announced with the names of two landmark residential schemes in Epping town centre revealed.
Qualis Homes has been established to ensure the successful delivery of hundreds of much-needed, high-quality, sustainable homes across the Epping Forest district.
The new, consumer-facing brand is appropriately launched during New Homes Week 2023, the annual celebration of new build homes, homebuilders and homeowners powered by the Home Builders Federation.
The development at the site of the former Conder Building, in the heart of Epping town centre, has been named Springwood Grove. It will soon feature 45 high-quality, sustainable new homes comprised of a mixture of contemporary one, two and three-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses.
The name Springwood Grove was inspired by the collection of both existing trees and those that will be planted as part of the development. The name also takes inspiration from a natural pond located within the site, which will be protected as part of the biodiversity strategy.
The St John’s Road development, the site of a former Epping school, occupies a prime location within the town centre and has been named Verdant Place.
The development will comprise a unique collection of 184 new sustainable homes featuring a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as two-bedroom houses. A number of existing properties at the site will also be refurbished, including the main school building that fronts St John’s Road.
Inspired by the greenery and rich vegetation of the site location, as well as the surrounding countryside and nearby Epping Forest, Verdant Place perfectly captures the vision for this new development.
The naming of the two developments comes after new hoarding and signage was erected around both the Springwood Grove and Verdant Place sites.
Construction work at Springwood Grove is already underway, while works to deliver Verdant Place will begin in the coming months. Practical completion and first resident move-ins at both schemes are expected from early 2024.
