Local schools, a charity fun run and a mental health service for young people are the latest to be awarded grants from our Community Benefits Fund.
The panel which meets quarterly to assess applications granted requests from:
- Upshire Primary Foundation School
- Coopersale and Theydon Garnon C of E Primary School
- Matching 10k
- Hereward Primary School
- Talk2Nish
Working in partnership with Epping Forest District Council, the fund provides financial support to organisations, community groups and charities across the Epping Forest district that are making a positive difference in our community.
There are two funds available:
Community Partnerships Scheme funding up to £5,000 and Community Small Grants Scheme funding up to £500.
The Community Partnerships Scheme is for larger projects which deliver ongoing benefit over a longer period of time while our Small Grants Scheme is designed to support ad-hoc events and initiatives. This includes support for local sporting groups, community fairs and school events.
To be eligible for funding, applicants must be able to demonstrate a benefit to those who rent their homes from Epping Forest District Council.
We particularly welcome applications which show how an event or project is creating new jobs and training opportunities, supporting health and well-being, regenerating the area and making the Epping Forest District a more sustainable place to live.
Applications can be made at any time by completing the form at https://qualisgroup.com/community-benefit-fund/ or you can phone us on 0333 230 0460 if you would like a hard copy of the application form.
Please provide as much evidence to support your application as possible.
