We began construction of 28 affordable family sized homes on the site of the former swimming pool at Roundhills in Waltham Abbey in June 2024.
The homes are being delivered in partnership with Epping Forest District Council who will purchase the homes on completion to add to its affordable housing portfolio.
The homes offered within the development will comprise 22, 2-bedroom houses and 6, 3-bedroom houses.
Qualis Commercial received planning approval for the delivery of homes on this site in August 2023 and the sale, approved by Cabinet at the end of May 2024, signalled the go-ahead for construction to begin.
The timelapse below shows progress in October and November 2024 on three of the five blocks.
Construction of the timber frame for the remaining two blocks will begin in January 2025.
