We are part of the local community and we are working to support the next generation of Epping Forest District residents into the workplace.
In partnership with New City College, we have developed our apprenticeship programme.
To date we have employed five apprentices within the business in plumbing, carpentry, gas, customer and corporate service roles, with plans for a further two places (grounds maintenance and electrical) in 2024.
Apprenticeships are available to anyone aged 16 or over and combine working with studying to gain skills and knowledge in a specific job. Successful candidates spend four days a week working as part of the company, supporting the team to deliver an exceptional standard of property maintenance service to residents across the Epping Forest District, with the other day spent at New City College training towards their qualification.
Business Administrator apprentice Ellie Marnie says:
“Joining straight from school, I was a bit nervous but I’m really enjoying it. Everyone is so supportive, friendly and determined to give their best both to the Company and to support their own development. I get exposure across all areas of the business and to work with all levels – right up to senior management. It’s fantastic and I definitely want to stay here.”
