Applications are now open.
If you are involved in or know of a fantastic community-focused event or project benefitting Epping Forest District Council housing tenants, why not apply for funding through our Community Benefit Fund?
Working in partnership with Epping Forest District Council, the Fund provides financial support to organisations, community groups and charities across the Epping Forest District who are making a positive difference in our community.
We want to partner with people who are as passionate as we are about making the Epping Forest District a vibrant and thriving place to live and work.
Our funding is available to events and projects which support this goal.
To be eligible for funding, applications must be able to demonstrate a benefit to those who rent their homes from Epping Forest District Council. This is due to how the scheme is funded.
We particularly welcome applications which show how an event or project is creating new jobs and training opportunities, supporting health and well-being, regenerating the area and making the Epping Forest District a more sustainable place to live.
There are two funds available:
Community Partnerships Scheme funding up to £5,000
Community Small Grants Scheme funding up to £500
The Community Partnerships Scheme is targeted to support larger projects which deliver ongoing benefit over a longer period of time.
Our Small Grants Scheme is designed to support ad-hoc events and initiatives. This includes support for local sporting groups, community fairs and school events.
The Community Benefit Fund is funded by the surplus that Qualis Property Solutions have generated. Qualis Property Solutions is the part of the business that provides housing repairs and maintenance services to those renting their homes from the Council.
This reinvestment is just one way in which we are giving back to the community.
You can phone us on 0333 230 0460 if you would like a hard copy of the application form.
A panel of representatives from Qualis, Epping Forest District Council tenants and staff and Councillors assess Community Benefit Fund applications every two months. Community Small Grants Scheme applications are reviewed as they are received.
Applications can be submitted at any time.
